I am stoked to announce the opening of a new photography studio in Winter Garden, FL!! The Open House & Tour will be held at The Bond Building today from 3-5 pm. We will of course still offer on-location photography, but the studio will give us additional space to work with and meet clients. I am so happy to meet all newly engaged couples, mommies-to-be and all of the little ones I have yet to photograph!

A farm, a beautiful baby girl, and a stunning 2 year old boy? Yes, please! I was humbled to be asked by my husband’s boss to photograph her grandchildren for the holidays. I’ve never been more nervous, I don’t believe. However, once I arrived on this farm, it felt like home and I knew we would be having a wonderful time with these babies! I loved this couple from the moment I met them at a wedding I shot in Savannah in August. Although challenged by impending rain showers, we were able to capture some awesome shots of their entire family. We go back, way back. Charmina hired me to photograph her parent’s anniversary many years back, and now, I had the opportunity to photograph her nuptials. I have never been a part of such a Christ-filled ceremony in my career as a photographer. I am so blessed that we were brought together all of those years ago. After relocating, we found out that we actually live only ONE MILE apart. God did that. Antonio + Charmina: much love in your journey together. I look forward to seeing you again soon!

Garrison: Kids Session

The Walker family met me for a 9 month old session with Garrison while they were on vacation. The little did an awesome job during the session, other than the sand that he took a bite of. Every kid has to do that at least once. However, most of them decide to throw a fistful at my camera first. So glad Garrison didn’t pull that one. He is adorable in his little beach hat! Thanks, Walker Family, for a great evening with the little guy!

I just can’t believe it. Baby Walker just turned 3 years old! I have watched him grow from an infant through my lens. Brooke & Patrick are two lucky people to be blessed with such a beautiful child. They have recently embarked on a new journey. A new state, a new home, and a new place to feed turtles. Walker will spend the summer on the beach and finding treasure with his mom. How much fun can one kid have in a day? If you find Treasure, Brooke, please call me! Happy 3rd Birthday, Walker!

Cassie says she and her mom knew from the moment we met that I would be her photographer. I love that. And I loved this wedding. She and Ian were made for each other. You couldn’t help but see it all day long. They have traveled together, apart, and anything that needed to be done to make things work. Now they can be together everyday and begin their new journey as husband and wife. The wedding was held at The Breakers, right on the strip, and I was pleasantly surprised at how little the traffic and crowds interferred with their day. (Senior Week can usually bring a little chaos.) The Breakers staff did a wonderful job at making sure the ceremony had the privacy the couple wanted. The reception was perfect as well. The dancing began right after dinner, and I don’t believe it ever cleared out. Congratulations on your marriage and may you find happiness and make a home wherever your jobs may take you! I truly enjoyed working with you both!

Alicia & Trei

When Alicia first inquired about my services to shoot her wedding… she wrote, “I have an ink pen fetish, too!” So I knew this girl had studied my blog and knew pretty much what there was to know about me already. :- ) After talking on the phone, we discovered we were both originally from the same parts of South Carolina….what some would call rival football teams. I truly enjoyed working with Alicia and Trei this past weekend for their Pawleys Island wedding. Their service was spiritually moving, and of course tears of joy fell. Alicia was stunning and definitely has made some girlfriends for life, as they are some of the first bridesmaids I’ve met that actually realized the day was about Alicia and HELPED the bride all evening with anything she needed. Trei is such a gentleman and everything I hope my sons will grow to be. He has swept Alicia off her feet, served our country, and knows how to pick the perfect song for the dance with his mom. Boys II Men will get you everytime. Alicia and Trei… enjoy that wondeful Honeymoon and congratulations on your new journey as husband and wife.

Cassie & Charles

Cassie and I have talked about everything from the jewelry she was making to the bouquet of shells she would carry on her wedding day. We’ve talked about everything else too. And yet we had never met before her wedding day. I ask my destination brides for a photo of them with their fiance so I can visualize what I can do for them for the wedding day. Yet, when I saw Cassie for the very first time that afternoon, she took my breath away. She had such a sweet smile and friendly eyes… and I could see exactly why Charles had fallen for her. Cassie felt compelled to write me her love story along with the photo (which I ask everyone to do) but hers was different. Her love story was three pages long. And I remember one night being totally worn out from a long day and opening her envelope as I sit in my PJs in bed. I read… and read… and cried. They have definitely waited for this day and God has truly blessed these two souls. I love being a part of a couple’s journey, especially when I learn so much about them.

Cassie & Charles… I’m so glad you found each other that day at the beach. I’m so happy for both of you being patient for this journey to come full circle. And I am sooooo blessed to have documented this day. Thank you for renewing my spirit as well. Congrats again!!

Lindsey + Taylor {Myrtle Beach Photographer}

There are only three little words to say about Lindsey + Taylor:: Oh My Gosh. I have had a long distance relationship with these two for several months now. I’ve met them for their fun-loving engagement session, learned to tie a corset dress for her bridal portraits, and their wedding day was everything I knew it would be. Pink stilettos, gorgeous chandeliers, Chinese laterns, and the old Peanut Warehouse in Conway turned into a venue fit for a princess…. and that princess was Lindsey. From the song Vogue… she has style, she has grace… and she has Taylor… who will make her the happiest woman on earth with his witty comments and outrageous personality. I love these two, and I am so blessed to have been a part of their fabulous wedding day! May you make her laugh everyday for the rest of her life, Taylor! And please remember the little people when you win the Masters. Love you guys & hope to see you on the sunny side!! Guests… leave this couple some love!
